Short courses in community eye health February – May 2003

London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine

The School is delighted to announce several new short courses as part of the International Centre for Eye Health’s Teaching Programme.

Control of Blinding Eye Disease

24 February – 28 March 2003

This programme will comprise two study units:

  • Control of Childhood Eye Diseases and Ocular Infections

  • Control of Non-communicable Adult Eye Disease

Cost £2,300

Planning a Vision 2020 Programme

28 April – 30 May 2003

This programme will comprise two study units:

  • How to Plan and Implement a Vision 2020 project

  • Resources and Technology for Vision 2020

Cost £2,300

These are full-time courses running for five weeks and are suitable for all eye care workers. Certificates of attendance will be issued upon completion.

It is also possible to take, individually, any of the above or other teaching units which form part of the MSc course in Community Eye Health. For further details please contact the Registry.
