WHO members call for Universal Eye Health

Eye health is available, but not yet to everyone. The new World Health Organization action plan calls for Universal Eye Health, a new framework to scale up services and expand access to all.

‘Towards Universal Eye Health: A Global Action Plan 2014-2019’ was unanimously adopted by the 194 member states at the World Health Assembly, the decision-making body of the World Health Organization.
