Viet Nam’s first optometry programme opens

There are an estimated 21 million people in Viet Nam with uncorrected refractive error, and three million of those are children.

To help tackle this issue, Vietnam’s first optometry program opened in October 2014 at the Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine.
