Feedback on the Spanish edition

“The Revista de Salud Ocular Comunitaria is a very good tool to disseminate knowledge for community eye health in Spanish-speaking countries, especially in Latin America and the Spanish Caribbean.

One of the main benefits is the free dissemination of international literature by renowned authors in different fields of prevention of blindness. Many of the issues covered in the Revista are not addressed elsewhere and the Revista is the only way to find articles on topics relevant to national eye health programmes. The Revista’s readership includes managers, nurses, technicians and other allied professions who don’t normally have access to ophthalmic journals and who speak only Spanish.

The Revista provides an opportunity for managers of eye health programmes in Latin America to publish their experiences and also encourages others to document and share their work in community eye health.

We hope that this publication will be strengthened in the future for the benefit of all.”
